Welcome to the GX Fun Run website
The Gerrards Cross Fun Run is a bi-annual event which, over the past 6 years, has grown to become the village's biggest community fund raising event. The Fun Run aims to firstly provide an opportunity for local families to have a great day out on the Gerrards Cross Common and secondly, to raise funds for worthwhile local charities. To date, the Fun Run has raised over £190,000 for charity.
We are proud to support two very worthy charities for the 2010 Fun Run. As a newly elected charity in 2008 we will continue to support the Sunrise cancer unit at High Wycombe Hospital, which provides a relaxing and caring environment for cancer patients and their carers whilst undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Our new charity for 2010 is Kids in Sport.

The Race
The 5km race attracts 1500 runners, from the serious competitor to the enthusiastic plodder, the individual runner to the office team, the 8 year old to the 108 year old! We will again have an exciting variety of supporting entertainment and a mouth-watering range of food and beverages available on the Common. This year our children's races were open to anyone aged between 4 and 9 years old. There is something for the entire family.
